A massive thank you to quizmaster extraordinaire and friend of the club, Chris Buley, for organising and running the Colts quiz and curry night at The Crown in Newick last night.
The evening was a huge success with a full house of teams, delicious curry and some fantastic prizes for both the quiz and the raffle. Everyone had a lot of fun and £400 was raised for the club.
All the money raised from events such as this one go towards maintaining and buying new kit, and hiring 3G pitches to keep the kids playing football through the winter when our pitches just get too wet to safely play on.
We really appreciate all the support and feel grateful to have such an amazing local community. Thank you to everyone who came along last night, to The Crown for hosting the evening, to all the businesses that contributed prizes (full list to follow) and to the evening’s main sponsor, Octego Ltd.
