C&N COLTS SAFEGUARDING

Providing opportunities for 150 kids to play football in a fun and safe environment, we are committed to safeguarding for all our players.

We take the safeguarding of our young players very seriously.

A huge part of the Chailey and Newick Colts FC ethos relates to the environment and atmosphere that we create for young people who want to play football.

As a club, we are steadfast in our belief that a positive atmosphere provides the best opportunity for young players to enjoy their football and develop.

Everyone who attends a game, whether that be as a player, coach or supporter is a club representative and has the opportunity to contribute to the positive atmosphere that we promote.

Dealing with frustration, different skills levels, mistakes or different opinions are all on offer within football and we believe our Codes of Conduct will help everyone to understand their role and contribution.

We have a justifiably proud disciplinary record and we firmly believe that this is a direct consequence of the expectations and behaviour that our volunteers exhibit, as role-models for our young players.

All our coaches are DBS checked and approved to work with children by the FA.

We have a strict Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and actively promote safeguarding throughout our club.
