The 2023/24 season ended last night with the very final match being played away by the U12s.
It came right down to the wire after a busy month of trying to fit in a huge backlog of fixtures that were postponed earlier in the season due to unplayable wet pitches.
The U12s put in a magnificent performance last night and finished their season on a high with a resounding 4-0 win.
Overall the team finished fourth in their division, despite having to concede several points for voided and forfeited matches due to circumstances beyond our control. We are immensely proud of all the players and how much they have come on this season.
Their sense of camaraderie and the bonds we have watched being formed on the pitch have elevated their play to the next level. We are looking forward to seeing what they can do next season when they move up to playing 11-a-side.
We’re really proud of all our players across all our teams and we’re now looking forward to our end of season awards night, when we get to celebrate all their achievements. It’s the one night of the year when the whole club gets together and is always a special occasion.
