Huge congratulations to our U9s team for winning the Sussex FA Development League Cup final yesterday!
We’re so proud of the team for this fantastic achievement and can’t wait to see the Cup in our ever-growing trophy cabinet.
The team and coaches all worked really hard in the run-up to the final and they got to experience an amazing day at Oakwood FC stadium in Crawley as their reward.
Thank you to Mid Sussex Youth Football League for organising the Cup tournament and to the U9s’ very worthy opponents in the final, Ifield Sports Youth U9. It was an exciting match and both teams played amazingly well and put up a great fight.
It’s a huge achievement even to get to the final so to bring home the Cup is fantastic for the club.
Well done to all the players, coaches and the parents who give up their time to get the kids to training and matches week in and week out.
