Elf Run 2024: Raising money for local charity

Every year in December some of our younger players take part in an Elf Run to raise money for local charity and friend of the club, St. Peters and St. James Hospice.

St Peter and James Hospice provides care to people with life limiting illness and their family and friends across Sussex. Chailey and Newick Colts support the hospice through various fund raising activities and events throughout the year, including the highlight - the annual Elf Run.

This year our Little Kickers, U8s, U9s and a couple of U11s players - accompanied by  their coaches and parents - ran two very muddy laps around Newick rec, looking superb in their elf hats and Christmas jumpers!

The total raised for St Peters and James Hospice was £380 on the day plus some more donations made online (final total TBC). It was a great morning and fantastic to see such a great turnout. Thank you and well done to all the Colts who came along to take part 🎄💙
