It was an absolutely beautiful day for football today. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and there was a sea of claret and blue at our Chailey home ground this morning.
After some challenging weather at the start of the season that made the pitches unplayable at times, it was wonderful to see so many teams playing at home.
Our U13, U12, U11 and U9 teams all played at Chailey this morning and despite the mixed bag of results just seeing all those kids out playing football makes it all worthwhile! The passion and hardwork that all the kids put in is admirable and we’re proud of them all.
Thanks to all the opposition teams who visited today for some great matches and let’s hope the good weather continues as we head into Spring.
