It was great to see the café in the clubhouse open again today. The atmosphere at our Chailey ground this morning was buzzing with the U13s, U2s, U11s and U9s all playing at home. It was also very chilly so the coffee, tea and bacon butties were a welcome respite for all the teams’ supporters.
The café is run voluntarily by parents and any profit made goes back into the club. We would like to say a huge thank you to Kathy for getting the café back up and running after a quite a long break without any home matches due to bad weather and unplayable pitches. It was great to have ‘Kath’s Caff’ back open for business. And thanks to everyone who contributed a cake or a bake – they all looked delicious.
